About Me

Hello! I’m Dina (she/her), a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and herbalist specializing in holistic and functional medicine.

In my practice, I integrate Eastern and Western approaches, bridging modern medicine with traditional healing practices. I believe these systems can—and should—work together in harmony. With over a decade of experience in conventional healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand how our current model often falls short in addressing the root causes of chronic illness. In a typical medical visit, there simply isn’t enough time to get curious, explore patterns, and understand the deeper connections within the body.

My role as a practitioner is to support and empower individuals by helping translate symptoms into meaningful insights and actionable steps toward healing. I take the time to look deeper, working collaboratively to uncover root causes and restore balance.

My work emphasizes regenerative health practices and harm reduction, focusing on life-nourishing habits that honor the profound interconnectedness between our bodies and the natural world.

I believe medicine should be holistic, integrated, relational, individualized, and even joyful—rooted in connection and aligned with the natural rhythms of the body and the Earth. Whether you’re living with chronic illness, in recovery, or simply seeking a deeper and more empowered relationship with your health, I’m here to meet you where you are with curiosity, deep listening, and care.

My work is also rooted in vitalism—the belief that the body carries innate wisdom and a natural capacity to heal when supported with the right conditions.

Whether you’re navigating chronic health challenges or simply looking to optimize your well-being, I’m here to support you on your journey.

Credentials

Alongside my formal medical training at Pace University, I’ve had the honor of apprenticing with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors, herbalists, and functional medicine practitioners. I studied Herbalism at the Terra Sylva School of Botanical Medicine and recently completed training at the Holistic Academy of Nutrition, where I deepened my understanding of TCM, Ayurveda, and food as medicine by exploring the traditions of longevity cultures around the world.
